So I on a solo mission I saw the movie that seemed to be on everyone's to-do list; that's right I seen "Straight Outta Compton". Although I was tempted to bootleg it, I decided what the hell I'll spend a few bucks to support this movie. So anyway it was a story about young black men from Compton, CA who changed the game of hip hop by re-inventing the term "gangsta rap". It also showed you how to keep it real in the rap game. NWA talked about what the lived and how the lived. Nowadays you find someone who ate a government cheese sandwich, and you got a gangster rapper. My review of the movie, um lets break it down: Story line A+, I mean it was the best story line from start to finish, I hope to God Wendy Williams took notes. Acting B+ all because I didn't know who some of these guys were, but they good for the most part. The guy who played Tupac, he needs to play Tupac in a Tupac Shakur Bio. Sorry Anthony Mackie but watching you play Tupac in 2009's film "Notorious" didn't make any sense; it would be like bringing a tennis racket to a baseball game. Pretty soon Mel Gibson would play the role of Barrack Obama, whenever that bio gets made. Oshea Jackson Jr, played the role of Ice Cube, in real life Ice Cube is his father. There is no need for Maury, Ice Cube you are the father. He played his father well, an outspoken take no shit kind of MC, who stood up for what he believed in. Then you had Dr. Dre, the guy who played dre was good, Mc Ren and dj Yella I mean they were THERE nothing less. But MC Ren was nice too. But whoever the dude as that played Eazy E needs a damn Oscar, I mean that dude sold that role to damn good in my opinion. Let me move on because I know Lil Eazy E's son may still be pissed off he didn't play his father, but I think he got the hint when they told him the women in the movie were actors, and he could not have sex with him (catch my drift). But in an article the reason Lil Eazy E didn't get the part was because Ice Cube felt they needed someone polished who could act, but yet Ice cubes son played him and had no acting experience whatsoever. For more info on that check out the link http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/ice-cube-explains-lil-eazy-e-s-absence-in-the-nwa-biopic-casts-mc-ren-and-dj-yella-roles-news.11488.html. So that means I had a shot to play Ice Cube (but I did take acting classes) if that means anything nowadays. The police were the police, Nuff said. And last but not least the women, that's right they used real women. You can tell they were real women because no one felt the need to edit the stretch marks from their bodies. Then you had Suge Knight, I mean we were better off with Ruben Studdard. The content was A+ I mean we are talking about NWA here, so you should know they were going to keep it real in the content area. Overall I give the film a B+, I mean there is always room for improvement. But it was a great film I like how they incorporated the LA riots scene, which was a huge story that shocked the nation. But what I didn't like is how they cut out the brief feud between Dr. Dre and Eazy-E for more information on that check out the link It goes to show you diss someone, not this twitter shit. Sorry Drake and Meek Mill your beef were passing hate notes in elementary school. I like how they tried to keep the wardrobe with the times, but all I saw was black tees and Jheri Curls and some gold rope chains and Oakland Raiders gear. So I take it the movie budget didn't take much of a hit with the wardrobe being that's how people in Cali dress anyways. So if you haven't seen it go check it out its worth it
