So I had the privilege to see When the Bough Breaks a few nights ago and let me be the first to say it was not a bad movie at all, well at least to me so on a 1-10 scale id give a 7 for effort. Now for those who have not seen the film, I would like to for you to look at "Fatal Attraction" starring Glen Close and the great Micheal Douglas. There were scenes in the movie that had me like "I had seen this shit before." A brief synopsis of the film, it's about a couple Laura & John Taylor who were planning to have a baby, but the old fashion way was not working, meaning Morris Chestnut's character "John Taylor" was shooting blanks. So they decide to go the surrogate route, but the surrogate route turns into a deadly game when Anna who's biological name is Jaz Sinclair turns into this love-stricken psychotic bitch, and that's all I am going to say because that was pretty much the whole movie, oh and she did get smacked by her boyfriend, how exciting I know Tyler Perry was in the background somewhere saying, "I could have made this movie". And the box office numbers, umm lol 16 Million thus far, so for that financial guru's out there should already know that someone isn't getting much money lol, lets just say that 16 million is taxed at 10% if not more, and that does not include the theater's cut , the distributors cut etc I mean Denzel made 20 million alone in "The Equalizer" . So let's hope a sequel does better, just add Denzel Washington in the film next time.
